Background Checked Cleaners
Bringing a house cleaning service into your Scottsdale home doesn’t have to be complicated. Finding the right one does require you to think about what you want; what you expect; and what you are willing to delegate to others. Here are a few things to consider when hiring a maid.
Think about your needs: Not every home needs the same level of professional cleaning. Think about the kind of jobs you need tackled. General cleaning may be the answer to keeping your house looking good. Or maybe you would rather hire house cleaners to come in once a month or once a quarter to handle those extra dirty jobs for you? Some Scottsdale cleaning services even offer once a year clean-up that can help you spruce up your home and take care of those periodic jobs that always seem to get forgotten.
Consider your comfort level: It isn’t always easy to hire someone to come into your home and handle a job you have always tackled yourself. Not everyone is comfortable allowing a maid to clean their bedroom, but they have no problem with that same professional cleaning the kitchen. Think about areas of the home that you consider too private and negotiate other services to replace those you will take care of on your own. For instance, if you don’t want to give a house cleaner free reign of your bedroom area, you can ask them to scrub windows or moldings downstairs instead.
Make a list of the things you want done on a regular basis. The best way to ensure that your home is getting cleaned the way you like it is to make a list for the cleaning service. Be sure to list things you want done each time they visit your home; as well as chores that are considered periodic. This will also help your service give you the most reliable quote for the job.
Consider the cost: ask any Scottsdale cleaning service you hire about the cost for regular visits as well as specialty visits. What if you decide you want some extra chores done before the holidays or during specific season of the year? Will there be an extra charge or will you need to schedule a separate appointment?
Get to know the provider: many homeowners mistakenly believe that they have to stick with a specific provider even if they aren’t’ thrilled with their work (or their personality). Most cleaning services employ a full staff of providers, which may allow you to ask for a new professionals should you prefer a change. Give your maid time to learn the ropes, but if for some reason you don’t seem to click, ask for a new one.
